WELCOME To RAJA MAHENDRA PRATAP POST GRADUATE COLLEGE

 Government Aided, NAAC Accredited College, Basic Education in rural coverage of ‘Narsan’ was initiated   in 1939 with   the establishment of Gurukul as Sanskrit School.

 This Gurukul School upgraded to middle school in 1946High School in 1948 and   further to Intermediate   college in 1951.Basic Education in rural coverage of ‘Narsan’ was initiated in 1939 with the   establishment of Gurukual   as Sanskrit School.   On account of increasing craze towards education and   consistent demand for higher education, Shree Hukum   Chand, Babu Jivan Lal, Ch. Sher Singh Verma, Sh. Virendra   Kumar Vedalakar and some other prestigious citizens   moved faster towards establishment of  degree college on the   back of huge donation and efforts of Choudhary Lal   Singh (Narsan Kalan).

  Because of being an agriculture prime area, the classes of B.Sc.(Ag.) were started in 1958 as an agriculture degree   college established   being named after the great freedom fighter Raja Mahendra Pratap and classes of M.Sc.(Ag.) were started in   1960. There is also   facility available for doing agricultural research work under Ph.D. because of this institution being engaged in promotion of   Agricultural education, English and Social Science. Under self finance scheme classes of B.A. with seven subjects were started   in 2005. In Art stream at post graduation level and B.Com (with Computerized Financial Accounting) were started in 2010-11 after having affiliation from University. This college provides various alternatives in study program, extra curriculum activities and make them involve in organizing seminar, meetings and projects.

The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
